Foley Mountain Day Camps

We are sorry to announce that the RVCA is cancelling summer day camp programs due to COVID-19. We made this difficult decision out of an abundance of caution and to protect the healthy and safety of our campers and staff.

The following items need to be completed and included for registration in the Foley Mountain Day Camp Program:


Winter Adventurers Day Camp

Fill up those PA days with winter fun! Programs are geared for kids aged six to twelve and are hosted by our knowledgeable RVCA interpreters. Learn how to snowshoe put up a shelter, build campfires and cook outdoors! The fun will run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The cost is $45/child and $40 for additional children in the same family. Each session can accommodate up to 25 children. Pre-registration is required.

Foley Mountain Forest School (Westport, ON)

Foley Mountain Forest School offers an alternative education in which children spend most of their time outside, learning through experiential, hands-on activities that promote curiosity in an active and authentic learning environment. Students will receive the benefits of repeated and regular visits to a natural area, in a play and inquiry-based education setting.

Forest School and COVID-19

We will work diligently to follow guidelines from the federal and provincial governments and public heath officials as well as work with our families and staff to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our communities.  This includes but is not limited to:

  • Enhanced cleaning and sanitizing of facilities and equipment
  • Screening protocols for families and staff
  • Providing opportunities for frequent hand washing and encouraging physical distancing
  • Protocols in place for suspected cases
  • Limiting access to program facilities to staff and students

Kindergarten Program 

  • Pre-registration is required
  • Children ages 3-5 years welcome (NOTE — children who are 3 years old can only attend one day per week)
  • Participants must be able to use the toilet independently
  • Cost per morning is $25/child plus HST
  • 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 am
