PD Day & Summer Camps
Baxter PD Day Program
Baxter will again be offering PD Day programs throughout the 2025/2026 school year! Programs are themed by our outdoor education staff depending on the season, such as Outdoor Survival Skills, Navigation, Winter Ecology, and Animals and Habitats. The program follows PD Day schedules for the OCDSB, OCSB, UCDSB, CDSBEO boards and new this year the CEPEO and CECCE boards, but students from all teaching environments are welcome. Families can register for one day at a time or for the entire school year at once. Come join us for a day in the Forest!

2026 Forest Explorers Summer Camp
Details and registration to come in Winter 2026!
Baxter’s Summer Camp gives campers the opportunity to enjoy summer adventures immersed in nature while playing, exploring, and making new friends. Camp will include a number of organized activities like our pond study, insect study, crafts, etc. and unstructured, child-directed time where our camp counsellors will follow the campers’ interests while providing a safe and fun summer camp experience.
2026 Summer Drop-In Days
Details to come in Spring 2026!
Can't commit to a full week of camp? Why not drop in for the day to play, explore and make new friends in the forest! Drop-in days will be run by our camp counsellors with a mix of organized activities, and unstructured play following the campers’ interests. Pre-registration is required.
