Foley Mountain Forest School offers an alternative education in which children spend most of their time outside, learning through experiential, hands-on opportunities that promote curiosity in an active and authentic learning environment. Students will receive the benefits of repeated and regular visits to a natural area, in a play and inquiry-based education setting.

You're invited to play an influential role in shaping the future management of the Foley Mountain Conservation Area.  

Please join us at the Friends of Foley Annual General Meeting to participate in a brainstorming session about the future of Foley Mountain Conservation Area. These are the early days of the planning process, but a wonderful opportunity to gather with recreational users, neighbouring landowners, conservation groups, elected officials and government agencies as we look to develop a robust plan that focuses on nature resource management and public use at our conservation area. Our goal is to balance the issues and interests of the community with the responsibility of managing areas for the present ant future benefits to forest, fish, wildlife and people.
