Geological Mapping
The geological mapping comes from the Ontario Geological Survey, Ministry of Northern Development and Mines. Currently, the mapping does not cover the whole watershed. Mapping scales vary from 1:50000 to 1:250000. Bedrock and Overburden Geology maps can be seen in the WIS/Data Section along with description of geological formations.

Topography
Mapping is based on 3D TIN (Triangular Irregular Network) model developed by RVCA and created from spot elevations, digital terrain models and surficial contours provided by Ministry of Natural Resources.

Aquifer Characteristics
Data on aquifer characteristics comes from site-specific field investigations carried out under groundwater studies or as a part of investigations for development applications. Therefore, data is not available for a number of locations in the watershed. Currently the well water hardness within bedrock and overburden formations are available in the WIS.
