Tay River Watershed Management Plan (final document)

The Tay River Watershed Management Plan is a comprehensive look at one of the most significant tributaries of the Rideau River. The community spent thousands of volunteer hours studying the issues, engaging the experts, debating the merits and devising the strategies for improving the long term health of the lakes, creeks, wetlands, forests and wildlife habitats in the the watershed. This report is part of the Tay River Watershed Plan process. The Existing Conditions and Trends in the Tay River Watershed report is a summary of the information representing our current state of knowledge of the conditions and trends within the Tay watershed. It will be the information platform from which we embark on the rest of the community watershed planning process. A clean, healthy Tay watershed helps us achieve a clean, healthy Rideau watershed.
