The Rideau Valley Conservation Foundation is an environmental charity working to help protect and conserve the lands and waters of the valley of the Rideau River in Eastern Ontario.

The Conservation Foundation builds partnerships and seeks new individuals, corporations and groups wanting to get involved in the vital work of taking care of our own natural environment.

The Foundation is run by a volunteer Board of Directors drawn from many walks of life within the valley. Their common goal is to provide the vehicle for people to help bring important conservation projects to fruition. These projects are often ones for which traditional government funding is insufficient or not available.

The Conservation Foundation was founded in 1970 and revitalized in 2001 with updated direction, by-laws and strategy. Its primary objective is to support the ongoing environmental efforts of the Rideau Valley Conservation Authority (RVCA). As a registered charity, the Foundation continues to play a crucial role in making conservation projects happen for Rideau Valley residents, now and into the future.
