Dickinson Square Conservation Area

Dickinson Square can be found in the heart of Manotick Village. This historic location highlights Watson's Mill — a 19th century grist mill. Still in working condition, Watson's Mill is open to visitors throughout the summer months. Take a guided tour or wander through the five storey building . . . just be sure to watch out for the ghost!

Tour Through Town Dickinson Square is the perfect spot to start your day in the village of Manotick. Tour the historic square and local shops. Take a walk across the dam and feed some of the resident ducks. Lunch or tea at "Millers Oven" (a restaurant run by seniors) after a mill tour is very refreshing. Watson's Mill Manotick Inc. The Mill is lovingly operated and managed by a dedicated group of volunteers and local enthusiasts who care for this magnificent old building.
