4) Turtle Habitat Project

In the summer of 2010, the RVCA launched the Turtle Habitat Project. This project looked to identify current and potential turtle habitat at our conservation land and then provide improvements such as suitable nesting sites and loafing logs.

The Turtle Project is happening at five of our conservation areas:

• Baxter Conservation Area
• Foley Mountain Conservation Area
• Mill Pond Conservation Area
• Meisel Conservation Area
• Perth Wildlife Reserve
